A team of dedicated and talented people (2, DK and UK) are currently in the midst of creating a new non-commercial (phase one) community based upon NFL (american football). While I cannot reveal all details, it will be the first of its kind and as such, a new concept. The project is rather comprehensive and there will be much to do, including full integration of all offered services across the community.
Based on full research, the rate of success is to be considered high, therefore, your work will not end up having been for nothing. There will be 24/7 support and communication available for the one(s) choosing to volunteer for this job - however, we do prefer those based in european and american timezones.
The potential visitors of the community are in the millions and while the concept is new, it's a safe bet for the future as it's based upon the rapidly growing NFL and something for every fan out there.
While it will remain 100% non-commercial (phase one) with no banners or advertising whatsoever, all expensives have been taken care of, including professional hosting at dc - with no limitations.
To those interested, you do not need to be a fan of the NFL sports in order to complete the asked tasks - though it would not hurt. As for payment, interested parties and applicants should consider this a volunteer job with payment due later (6 months - 1 yr). There will be a possibility of becoming a full member of staff aswell, should it be of any interest.
We expect to have the early stages ready within a timeframe of 6 months, however, we do not wish to rush things and therefore, there will be no deadlines or launch dates.
Right from the start, the community will partner up and have premium linking at a global top 9,000 website (alexa.com), should anyone want to know. As for my personal background, this is not my first large-scale project. The other guy is a perl and unix specialist with decades of experience.
We're looking for (a) talented and skilled person(s) within the following fields:
- PHP (advanced)
- ActionScript (intermediate)
- Flash (intermediate)
- XML (advanced)
- CSS (advanced/highly advanced)
Note: We believe in dedication and talent from a small team of people and as such, we're looking for a maximum of one (1) or two (2) person(s), capable of all of the above. We are not looking for any graphics designers or perl/unix experts. Thank you.
