I just joined and am wondering what the best way to use the website is. What is the best area for new members? are we allowed to post links to our websites and blogs here? (I have 1 website and 2 blogs)

the best way to use this site is to read until your eyes are blurry, preferably '4am

As mentioned earlier, yes link are allowed in signatures (there are conditions) also signatures aren't indexed by search engines.

Anyway..

Best suggestion become a active member, not someone who joins just to promote (spam)
