Google just released the latest update of their Quality Raters guide.
Quality Raters are people Google hires to rate websites based on criteria in the guidelines document. These are NOT manual reviews - getting a low rating won’t directly affect your web site - but the data is used to check on and imorove their algorithm. Items in the guidelines specify what they want in the search results and will eventually be rolled into the algo that determines rankings, if they aren’t a part of it already.
If you are serious about SEO, these guidelines are a must-read. Read them, memorize them, apply them.
