Hey all,

So, I was doing some research and found some two-word .com's that I really am surprised are available.

However, I see a lot of "gurus" on social media recommending going with expired for quick flips.

Unfortunately, I'm the most experienced, so I'm hoping you all can assist.
I'm looking to build a portfolio for both short-term flips & long-term hold/development.

My question is: is it realistic to do quick flips off brand new domains (vs expired)?

Appreciate everyone's input / talking me through all of this.

expired and regged domains with seo value has greater potential.

Based on my recent experiments, i found that dropped domain with DA PA values are more likely to get quick index.

It's definitely possible to make quick flips with new domains. There are still many worthwhile 2-word domains up for grabs, if you know what to look for.

Doesn't really matter if it's a new registration or expired, both can be flipped quickly. As long as they're properly priced and you know how to outbound them. As previously mentioned, there are still a lot of good two and three word domains out there available to register and flip fairly quickly. The problem people usually have is they either price them too high or don't want to try and find a buyer for them. If it's a new registration you have to accept that most of those names aren't going to be big $XXXX and higher type sales. On top of that, you might need to put in a little work to find a buyer for it. Put in a little work and you can find plenty of available domains that can be sold for many times what you paid for it in just a couple of months.

This may not be the answer you are looking for but the answer is NEITHER.

First, I assume that your goal is too actually turn a PROFIT. The VAST majority of domainers NEVER turn a profit.
Why? Because the cost of renewing their domains exceed any sales they make.

The VAST majority of all dropped and new domains registrations are worth ZERO. So, if you register 100 of these at random it will cost you about $1000 per year to hold them.
Been there, done that.

A better approach is to find valuable domains on places like Namejet, Snapnames, Godaddy auctions and HERE, and resell them for MORE than you paid for them. Keep your overhead low, by ONLY holding valuable domains that have a good chance of selling, and DROPPING the rest. How do you know what's valuable? Read the forums and STUDY.
Good Luck.
