Also, if you are going to transfer away from them when an expiry is due, leave yourself plenty of time. The only way to get an auth code is to email their customer support, and sometimes this can take over a week to get a response, which is kind of ridiculous.

I was unaware their are still people using netsol in 2025. All you can do is contact netsol and see if they will refund you even if it means losing the domain. Unless the .org is amazing just drop it. If you wish to keep it see if a feature was turned on that added the extra cost and if that feature can be refunded so you only pay the $10.99.

As @Chris CPD mentioned, I won it in a NameJet auction — it was nearing the end of its first year.

They refunded the charge, and I successfully transferred it out.
