Anyone have experience with Network Solutions, good or bad??
anyone knows if this is real? I seem to get the discount but am afraid to give them my paypal account access lol
also how mcuh more is the .co???
Do we need to pay the transfer out?
no. but they are awful and bad in just every other conceivable way. as said by many members on many threads.
More fine print. it looks like $1 for one of each eligible extension so buying five .com at $1 is not possible --> "Offer valid only for (1) domain names registered with Network Solutions; (2) .com, .net, .org, .info, or .biz extensions (.co also available for additional fee); and (3) generally available domain names and not for any Premium Names."
ok, so this is a bad or difficult registrar??
You better read all the fine print first.
NetSol is terrible.
U hafta jump thru flaming hoops to get a transfer code or to stop auto-renewal.
Also, it seems that half the domains that ever get stolen are taken from (by?) NetSol.
Thanks, that answers it for me...I'M OUT.
Agree that it's always important to read Network Solutions' fine print very carefully - but to me the above text doesn't seem to forbid 5 names with the same extension..
Really? i think it's a grey area at best...given the feedback, maybe I am assuming the worst.
Wait til they screw you over then tell us
yeah for $25 total savings
Im not giving them my paypal account access hehe
Thats the problem with NetSol, whether they provide a domain or transfer for a dollar or even free, people are still skeptical.
I dont see an issue here. You may remove auto debit from paypal account settings for anyone.
that almost sounds like your saying because have no good reason to be skeptical of netsol
which is not true.
It doesn't include transfers, right?
I was just saying
yeah thats fine
me too was just saying that there are countlesss well documented reasons why people SHOULD be skeptical of netsol
if we talk about paypal then we could easily revoke their access by cancelling their subscription within our own paypal account.
It will be terribly difficult if you give your cc, because you had to cut off your card and cancel your credit card...
your right but i think we heard worst than them even charging revoked paypal agreements.... as far as i go they can prolly even find a way to charge your empty gift cc...lol... i only have 2 crappy dns there teansfered on a failed free promo once.. and i intend not to do more biz in future
Registered one domain with Paypal. No any issue thanks.
If we're talking about 5-10 minutes, that statement is meaningless.
My most recent experience with NetSol, I bought a domain from a NP member registered at NS and had it pushed into an old account of mine. No payment methods on file. I watched it like a hawk and transferred it out ASAP or shortly thereafter. While those "hoops" were a pain, if I remember correctly I got the Auth Code in about a week and was able to transfer it AWAY from NetSol without any real trouble.
However, about two decades ago I had to fight for nearly ONE YEAR to finally rescue a domain I had bought from a reseller who disappeared and left me with a name stuck with his contact information. That was quite a nightmare, but I persisted and saved the domain. I have very little faith in NetSol.
NetSol give auth code within 3 days. I used it before and I did not have a problem.
As I don't have enough to buy domains and want to make a good portfolio, So I did buy 5 domains, it was fast and easy, did it with a limited money CC. couldn't put a screenshot as https://prnt.sc/ is down.
If you have a Windows PC, just push the Ctrl and Prt Sc buttons. Then you'll have a screenshot in your clipboard which you can paste anywhere that paste is available.
I just wanted to do it as an image link but here it is:
Separate names with a comma.
