Hello there everyone.

I am not sure this top has been discussed or if it happened to anyone as I searched for the forums. Remember the free domain transfer to Netsol? Well, I transferred there 27 domains. Aged domains with some being more than 15 years old.

The other day, I checked one of the domains I transferred there and I saw crazy date. The domain was registered by me in 2003. I said there must something wrong and forgot about it.Today, I logged into my account and checked all the domains.

Each domain is given a creation date of when the domain transfer was initiated. I dont really understand how this can happen or if this is affecting my account only. I planned to call them but decided to create a ticket .

My question is, Did any of you guys see something like this? If so , did they explain what happen and did they fix it? It worths noting the domains I transfered had minium one month left before expiration date and three months or more maximum.

Did you check the dates with other whois? Saw another thread about this but I think it was a different registrar.

Thank you for replying creataweb. I used more than one whois service to check and they all showed the same date.

Thank you for that link Kate. There is a little difference in the sense that Netsol whois as well as ICANN whois both show the new date which Netsol gave the domain. Another surprising thing is the fact that the original expiration date of the domain is set as the expiration date.

What is it that you call the Icann whois ?
The best is to check on the registry website.
For .com: Verisign.

The whois check on ICANN website. @Kate Thank you for that link. It does show the original date. So far that is the only one I found to be showing the correct creation date.
