Need some help...

I recently purchased PHPMyPanel and am running into a lot of problems.

When I try to install the script, I get the 500 Internal Server Error. I went to cPanel and looked up the recorded error messages, and this is what I got:

[2007-08-19 11:48:55]: error: directory is writable by others: (/home/apexx/public_html/PHPMyPanel)

According to the installer I have to chmod the directory to 777 or else the installer won't continue with the installation. Once I CMOD it to 777 and click continue, I get that error message.

Any advice?

If you are receiving an error for having it @ 777, try changing it to 755 or 666 And see what happens.

Dont give the configuration file any write permission.
