PhpLD Problem

version - PhpLD v2.1 free

Yesterday I d tried to install it and s been given this error msg -

Fatal: /home/hasitha/public_html/directory/temp is not writable, installation cannot continue.

folder is already set to 777 , i checked it even in Cpanel its set to 777

Only for temp folder other folders and files ok

./include/config.php writable [working]

./temp/templates writable [working]
