Internal Server Error? WTF? Please Help!

Hello,
When I goto my admin control panel on my forum I get this error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.36 Server at www.retect.com Port 80

I just recently moved all my files from one server to another. I have never had this problem before.

internal server error is probably caused by your htaccess file

yea, it also sometimes happens when you give the folder the wrong access.

For example, check if your admin directory is CHMODED to 777, if it is put it to 755, should sort it out.

If you have installed any script, read the installation notes for chmod of some files or something, it mostly occurs when their is a wrong access given to some folder/file or if you have an improper or corrupted .htaccess file.

If possible turn on your error log. That should give you an idea of what the issue really is.
