Need some advice on 2 high traffic domains

I picked up 2 high traffic domains yesterday:

videogame type domain name (NET) has received 76 visitors today and 5 clicks
photography type domain name (COM) has received 236 visitors today and 0 clicks

I'm not sure what do with the second domain in order to get some clicks. I also want to find out if the pro's out there have an idea of what they typically pay for a domain name with a given number of hits. For example: $10 per 100 hits?

I realize the name itself is important but is there some average given known existing traffic coming through inbound links.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

This would all depend on what the name you have is and the visitors you get. I would just keep experimenting with different ideas to see what works for you.

Thanks for your feedback. The domains are:

arcademonster.net
the-cameraeye.com

arcademonster.net has a good click-thru rate but the payout is low.

the-cameraeye.com has extremely low click-thru rate and $.01 per click. Really low.

I'm with parked.com...any ideas on keywords that may boost PPC and click-thru...I realize the tradeoff, but I'd rather have 1 .37 cent click than 5 .01 cent clicks per day.

Traffic can be a factor for domain value, but I don't know of any way to put a number on it. Most of our domains have traffic but people don't seem to care much about it.

If you get traffic and no clicks, people are either not seeing what they expect, or not seeing anything they are interested in. If you can look at the keywords or referrer pages that are bringing people in you may get a better idea what they are looking for and can adjust your keywords to match. This is hard for some domains. I am struggling with my Runeword.com which gets lots of traffic but I can't seem to find what people are looking for...

The other think to keep in mind is that parking providers are not the same, and if you have a domain that's getting traffic but no clicks (clicks may be getting filtered out if the traffic is non-US) then you should move it to another parking provider or try one like Noomle.com.

P.S. You may want to remove those live links to your parked domains. Most parking providers don't allow you to do that and can close your account if they find them... :(
