I have a domain at Bodis, comrooms/com, that got around 1000 visits last month, but zero clicks. I'd truly appreciate some suggestions on keywords and content.

What would you expect to find at a site with this name?

Right now I have hardly any content showing. I've even tried asking visitors to tell me what they're looking for but have had no luck.

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks, xxfireflyxx....and welcome to NamePros.

My searches showed lots of stuff about meebo, my space rooms, poker rooms and some hotel rooms. Guess I should try a combo of them all...certainly can't hurt!

I'm curious to what your first thoughts are about what a comroom is...

My first thought was computer room, doesn't make much sense though.
My 2nd thought was comp room (free rooms) maybe that is why google shows hotel and motel rooms on search.

Good Luck

I'm thinking I've heard of "comroom" somewhere waaaaaaay back in high school. Probably a slang term. Its what they called one of the rooms in the school, but for the life of me I can't remember which one? Maybe the room they did conferences in, or the one they made the school announcements from. I doubt your traffic is coming from that though.

I would not try and make a page with a bunch of unrelated terms hoping to find which of them is the "right" one. It seems like a good idea, but from the users viewpoint they are arriving at a site that isn't targeted at them. (even if one link is) They're likely to leave because they don't see a whole page devoted to what they want. Its more work, but I'd try a whole page devoted to each possibility for a week or so and see which one really works.

Also think larger as to what the term could mean and weigh in where your traffic is coming from. Maybe comroom is a typo for a dictionary term in another language. Google would find it if it was spelled right, but if it were a typo in a foreign language, google would likely not catch it.
