Hi everyone

I wanted to build a small simple site for my company name as a buyer/seller of domain names. I don't think I want to list all of my names since there might be too much upkeep with moving out sold domains and inputting new domains.

I just want a couple page site that shows people that I am a legitimate seller when I'm sending them an email with Name @ domain.com (example). I'm sure they would look up "domain.com" to check up on me.

Anyone have any of their sites or know of any sites I can take a look at so I can take some ideas and built a template of my own?

thanks everyone. Hope this makes sense.

I personally use domainer script as the backend for my retail site.

Excellent script and even better service.

I also know many who use domain portfolio and are quite happy.

Just depends on your needs.

Unfortunately, all of my sites are currently down (thanks bluehost) otherwise you could get an idea of the customization possible with DS.

Good luck!

At Domaining.com under Portfolios you will see some twenty-odd domain sales websites. That should give you an idea of what others are doing.

A simple Wordpress blog about who you are, what you do, etc, might help make you "real" to customers.

Also forgot to mention that you could use a 2-step approach.

As mhdoc suggests, you can setup a basic WP blog to establish your identity, then either drive traffic to a separate portfolio site or incorporate the two.

Many professionals successfully use this strategy.
