I just registered Kewlr.com (cooler) and was going to use it as a blog name but I'd love some other ideas.

Would this work as a digg-like site? Pop culture site? Any other ideas?

Thanks

Digg style site could be fun in a couple of ways - branded as WaterKewlr (like Watercooler) for hot daily topics.

Or a competition style site with This is Kewlr than that - challenging people to come up with a Kewlr whatever - for example, this week could be Pumpkin Carving. My pumpkin is Kewlr than yours!

i'm not a big fan of that domain name, but i dont think it'd be too much of an obstacle if you put in a lot of time and effort into developing it

in which case there'd be no real correlation with the domain name

It reminds me of skater slang... that could be your niche

could be either a social networking site or social bookmark
some sort of stumbleupon where each user bookmark a site they think it's cooler than the rest.

maybe an online forum for all the above

I think of "cooler" and something on ice.
For some reason I see a "tech think tank" or venture development group.
I also agree with DDC and Weblord. Both with good use ideas.

I like the name. Goood luck with it.

The thing about kewlr is that is you brand a site with it, ppl would have to remember the strange spelling and likely would forget it. It's still not bad to develop but it has its obvious flaws

if you have to ask, then it is not worth developing it imho. that being said, some sort of comparison site might work on it. hot or not or products or whatever.

Flickr does okay, I'd say.
