domain Need help to valuate Outdoor-Team.com. Russian Agency made a request.

Please help valuate this domain Outdoor-Team.com
I've got a price request from Reg.ru Registrar.
This name (with hyphen) has at least three valid and developed websites (one of them in Russian - .ru, -installing some sort of outdoor activity "rope parks").

I have not contacted any of them yet (did not outbound), as this domain is freshly registered(10 days in my ownership, does not seem been used by this Russian company).

I removed it from Afternic(it was in low $X,XXX) for time being, until this request resolves.
The agent sounds valid with legit business info, lady contacted me writing in Russian via Epik landing page.

- No-hyphen names outdoorteam /net $10.98 and /org $9.18 on Namecheap, which are stronger and cheaper alternatives
- outdoorSteam /com (with an “s”) is listed for minimum $3295 on Afternic. Let’s say outdoorteam (no “s”) would go for $xx,xxx, perhaps even $32950

Your domain is somewhat impaired by the hyphen BUT
- the keywords are in the right order, and make sense together
- you have a buyer expressing interest
- they’re expressing interest via a broker which means they don’t know where to look or how to value

I’d say this is a $xxx - $xxxx domain but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Depending on whether you need to sell, you can hold for $xxxx.
I checked out their site and it looks like they’re selling and installing rope parks which I’m guessing goes into the thousands or tens of thousands of dollars. So they shouldn’t bat an eyelid at paying four figures. But I wouldn’t push it given the alternatives listed above. I couldn’t find a listing for Outdoorteam but you could try inquiring via broker at Godaddy etc. If you get that price, I’d drop at least a zero from that to get your price.

But ask them to make an offer first to see where they’re at. Will be interested to know how this goes.

They offered only 15,000 RUB, which is around $200. I countered...will see. Their branches are in dozens of Russian and other near countries' cities actually.

edit: I also checked outdoorteam /ru and it redirects to outdoor-team /ru so if this is the company you’re dealing with, they should know the value of .com. Wonder how much traffic they’re leaking. Might be fun to have an email forward from your domain and see what and how many you get

Yes, listed on marketplaces at $5K BIN / $2K MIN on Afternic etc. Freshly registered...That company seems to be a strong potential buyer/end-user.

Though the IP of the lady/agent does not belong to Russia(Epik provided one), and time stamps of her emails do not make sense to me either. Unless there is delay in email delivery. Not sure what is behind it, maybe I am wrong. Hopefully it is a real deal.
