.tv Need an opinion on which domain seems better

I'm looking at setting up a .tv domain for the towns in my county. THe county is named after one of the towns (i.e. a town is named Tolland and the county is also Tolland). I have both tolland.tv and tollandcounty.tv. If I just use tolland.tv, then I wonder if the people from the other towns are going to be mad . If I use tollandcounty.tv I wonder if it will be too long and people won't remember it. Any opinions?

I like short, so in my opinion it would be tolland.tv for sure!
(and have tollandcounty.tv redirected to tolland.tv as well)

I agree with johntv, the shorter the better. Looks like you have a pretty decent catchment area there if it is Tolland/Tolland County, Connecticut.

i agree with John & everyone else who said use the shorter name & redirect the other one.
Good Luck with your project, i think developing a site about the area you live in gives you a major advantage over other geo owners as you have all the local knowledge and easy access to local companies who may advertise.

Good that you have both. As stated by john short almost always. Use longer name to forward to tolland for successful site.

Go for it As it is I'm just learning how to get started here. This will honestly be my first serious attempt at developing a site for anything beyond personal use. I know in my head what I'd like the end result to be. I've just got to look at all these different packages and figure out what comes closest. This was actually inspired by a discussion with a couple people who were lamenting the fact that since they had satellite, they did not have the local public access channel to see all the videos of meetings and sporting evnts in town.
