I wonder if you would be so kind as to give me your quick opinion on a couple of names.

Both 247bet.tv and bet247.tv were acquired in unexpected circumstances but acquired they were.

Both expire in the next couple of days so this is quickie :]

I was going to renew bet247 but in chat others said the other name made more sense to them so I thought I would see what others think..

I think its just semantics Mellow, they both have about the same feel IMO, If you are not going to do anything with either one you may want to drop, because you need a buyer that wakes up and needs that exact name. In .tv its easy to find prefix and suffix or use some other type of name. Bet 360 or bet 24, so don't waste $30 unless you like the name. Again IMO

I like Bet247[]com best, and if possible, I say keep them both and point the unused
version at the name being used. Protects your marketing efforts ($) and
increases resale value as well as increase the natural type in traffic.

Besides ..... you know people will confuse thwmselves ... :] and reverse the URL.

Personally if it was me, unless you were going to develop, I would drop them or sell before expiry

I agree with html, if you are not going to develop I would drop both of them. With just a few days before they expire a sale will be difficult but you could give it a try with a low BIN.

I'd probably drop both.Any possible buyer has so many alternatives of equal potential which would make it difficult to make any buyer fee they NEED this domain at a high price.

If you have any development interest at all then keep one.
Make a basic site or blog with betting advice, post videos from youtube that reveal betting systems, & sell betting books/software (through amazon or any affiliate)
Give details on any new bookmarkers promotions then post an affiliate link to the sign up page, if the users register with the bookmakers then you get somewhere between $10 - $25 on average with more payments if the user becomes a big time gambler.

So many development options with betting domains.
Running betting tips websites is where i made my 1st money in web development so i do know the market, lots of traffic out there to try get a share of.
I also taught myself how to become a decent gambler & employed other gamblers to give betting advice on a subscription only basis which does very, very well if you can find some decent tipsters. Some good tips sites can charge $xxx - $x,xxx for one betting tip but of course that side of things is very serious and requires a lot of work & learning the trade.

You can have sections on poker, casino, football, soccer, rugby...etc
Different betting guides, tips & tricks for ech section.

If you have any development ambition then think about it, you can do the most basic option & still make good money through Affiliates. IMHO

You can buy better names, non-premium that are better either through new registrations or through aftermarket. With that being said, I would drop.
