I'm not totally new to the domain biz, but I'm new to eNom.
Now, I know what all this "eNom Reseller Account" stuff is about...

I was going to add a year or two onto a couple of domains I bought recently and found out the renewal is $29.95/yr. LOL.

Anyway, I'm looking for a little advice (heads up) BEFORE
I transfer them to GoDaddy.

Specifically,

1) What are the potential "pitfalls?"
2) Should I "have GD do the work?" In other words initiate the
transfer FROM them?
3) There seems to be a 60-day rule (no transfers)? That means
from the initial reg. and not since I bought them - correct?
4) Anything else?

THANKS - appreciate the help!
Mike

Can you be a little more specific?

That is the only way you canb transfer to Godaddy. Transfers are always initiated from the gaining registrar.

60 day rule after new registration applies to every registrar. Many registrars (like eNom) allow you to push and change owners under this 60 day rule. Others like GD apply the 60 day rule to anything and everything.

4) Anything else?
Why pay $29.95 to eNom. I'll hook you up with some $7.50 renewals.
