I was thinking we could have a NamePros poker tournament or even a 24/7 poker room and play for NP$. Like we could have a tourney with a "buy-in" of $500 NP$ and get lots of people to come, would have an attraction like the auction does, hundreds of members playing.

We could also set up a 24/7 poker room and have people playing in ther 24/7, just as we have people in the chatroom all day lol. You could convert NP$ to NPP (NamePros Poker $) or just keep the NP$, could be fun. I'm sure you could get around the whole gambling aspect by showing that NP$ can be earned by posting, not by buying and is hence, not gambling for real money.

Just a suggestion, anyone like the idea? If so, shoot me over some rep :).

there's no Poker for vB and I doubt -RJ- would spend $5K for custom development let alone overcome legislation for each state that prohibits gambling (remember fightgambling.org) ;)

the only gambling plug-in which he can add here is vBookie which will allow members to place bets on certain outcomes this would be a nice Fantasy Football 2006 initiative ;)

Yea it would be fun. Might be hard to get around legality, but it would be popular. Boy would it be popular lol. You'd see so many people with tons of NP$ and then all those once super rich members reduced to nothing. :)
