tho i kinda think we need to keep it for domainers only
i dont want to see a bunch of poker punks joining np just to play poker
maybe make it only for users that have earned domain credit bought or sold domains in live auctions or received npp$ (NameProsPoker$) DONATIONS (add the link to profiles) people can sell domains for NPP$

I do remember, afew years ago. NP actually had afew poker games hosted on a site, with a table. I think it was a $50 buy in. Would be great if that could become once a month, maybe a low buy in though.

and not the regular NP$ or real money !
I dont think it wouldn't be much different from all the myspace facebooks apps etc

If that's the case, DO NOT WANT.

NP$ being an actual currency is one of the things that makes NP as great as it is... you can make transactions without even needing a paypal account, plus people can earn money even if they may be too young to have their own paypal account (or if they're in a country that doesnt support it, etc).


Plus, I've worked hard to earn the NP$ I have (earned every NP$, baby) and I like knowing that I have backup money if I ever need it.

That is why i suggested the NameProsPokerBucks or poker points
keep it apart from the NP$ kinda like the domain credit or npclicks system!
tho i know this can be a grey area with all the madness that happened recently in Kentucky but they did win the case and the domains were returned

as far as I know its not illegal to play poker online its just illegal to cash in/out for currency but im not sure
but if we are playing for points i dont think its considered illegal gambling if you cant cash out for currency

I'd like to see a weekly or monthly NP poker tournament... should be pretty easy to setup and I definitely volunteer to help set up a private tournament at Full Tilt every month if you guys wanted to start promoting it.
