Hello Friends,

I have couple questions to ask. All of your answers will be appreciated.

1- I won a domain on NameJet and they provided me a eNom username but there is a Auction Lock on the domain. I guess it has 42-day Auction lock and I can't transfer to another registrar nor push to another account. If there is a Auction Lock, can I sell the domain to end user or auction ? Should I wait 42 days to auction lock is lifted ?

2- How do you guys marketing the domains find the end-users ? What are the strategies ?

3- What platforms do you guys suggest for domain-flipping ? Where is the best platform sell the domains ?

4- How do you valuate the domain names ?

5- What tools do you guys use for domaining?

Thank you and waiting for your valuable answers.

That's it.

You can try to sell the domain right away, but the buyer will not be able to gain custody of the domain until the lock is lifted. So it's better to wait.
And the domain can still be taken away from you (if redeemed by the former holder). Until that lock period is over, you should assume your ownership of the domain is not truly final.

That being said, I once sold a domain that was still on auction lock. I listed it on Sedo as soon as the auction was paid for (as usual). Then I got an unsolicited offer a couple weeks later. So I told the buyer (and transfer agent) that the domain was subject to a lock at the current registrar, and there would be a delay of two weeks.

As for the other questions, they have been asked (and answered to) many times. Search the forum and read read read :)

If enom removes the domain from your account during the 42 day lock period, and the domain is returned to the original owner, does enom or namejet give you a refund? If you read their TOS carefully, all it says is no refunds, no exceptions.
