NameDrive.com vs 1Plus.net

Does someone know the history of NameDrive.com and 1Plus.net? 1Plus looks like a poor man's copy (a VERY poor man) of NameDrive (at least the domain control panel). Did NameDrive start up first? Did 1Plus just copy some of their design?

I started with just a few domains at 1Plus a few days ago, but found their control panel to be very clunky and very non-intuitive. Plus there is no help or guide on how to use it. Not to mention the very minimal and primitive stats. Oh -- and no response to my questions of 2 days ago by email and their contact page.

I signed up with NameDrive today (12/11), and saw some similarities in design -- BUT WOW how much more robust and easier to use!!! :lala:

PLUS the NameDrive template pages are overwhelmingly beautiful and impressive.

Anyone else have comparisons to share between these two?

I must say my experiment with 1plus didnt work out. I gave it some 6 months. Name drive just drives traffic somehow better.

Both are failry new players. NameDrive was first for sure.

You'll love NameDrive. Some people hate the fact that they adjust the PPC income some 24-48 hours after first reporting it. Sometimes it goes up - sometimes it goes down. My advice to ND would be to first credit all clicks with one cent and then adjust to the final number. That way it wouldnt go down which pisses off people who stare at their stats all day long. Just dont. They accurately monitor where the clicks are coming from and pay accordingly.

I think all parking companies should keep better tabs on the value of the clicks. Makes the parking industry more healthy.

I will never use any site other than namedrive. I would advise against anything other than namedrive.

1plus has worked out for alot of folks, and all the answers you'll ever need from 1plus is here http://www.namepros.com/ppc-cpc-cpm-programs/183155-totally-free-unique-way-park-domains.html but you need a few hours to absorb all that info. Good luck to you no matter what you decide.

If I'm correct (was wrong 1 time before) namedrive just monetizes the traffic you already have...1plus "adds" your url to their "site" and you in time pick up new traffic because you get seen by the search engines like a "real" site would...yes or no?

Well 1 plus was started by NPer Badger who has done a great job IMO. Secondly Namedrive does not bring you traffic that is not true. I have never thought anything of Namedrive except overhyped any domain I have had there has done worse than Fabulous and even some cases SedoPro for those doing well congrats I wish you success I would never use Namedrive anymore

if you have zero traffic or CTR of < 10% give 1plus.net 2 month to see if it generates more traffic . . .

I just moved a few domains over to 1plus.net myself. Waiting for google adsense to o.k. my account. I'm going to concentrate on getting one domain in tip top shape for maximum revenue. I like what Badger has done there, and also like keeping 100% of all revenue.

Still too early to tell if it was worth it or not.

Was on Sedo and Trafficz which are worthless for almost no traffic domains.

Anyone else have any experience with non-type in domains with any of these services?

All parking services have their plus and minus

Sedo + : Very good for multilingual non english names
Sedo - : Average - Low templates. Medium CTR

NameDrive + : Nice templates, customization and region targeting
NameDrive - : 90% of the time the rates drop after the 24H accurate count

TrafficZ (that you mentioned above) + : Allows you to put custom HTML
TrafficZ - : Not good templates

If we are talking about revenue my experience shows similar amounts with Sedo and NameDrive

1plus.net is totally different to ND as it has pages that are indexable by google ect. unlike ND which relies on typein traffic.

So where would most of you suggest putting domains that are not getting traffic?

I just recently moved some with zippo traffic and hits to NameDrive. When I view the landing pages, the content seems to be appropriate enough.

So how will 1plus be better? Are they all not using google to give relevant content?

At least I thought they were and some say they are. Already in two days I have seen anywhere from 4% to 33% conversion on NameDrive vs 0% on SedoPro. One domain was getting traffic of nearly 1300 on SedoPro with only one click. How the hell can that be? Pure crap, total irrelevant content, not a thing to do with the domain or keywords entered.

What I found on SedoPro was they, sedo or whomever, were changing keywords at will to where the landing pages were completely bogus crap. Absolutely nothing to do with the domain, nothing to do with the keywords that I had tweaked, nothing to do with the source of the traffic.

At NameDrive, that same domain was 33% in just two days. Per Click will not be as high as it was at sedo but in the long run, needless to say, it will do better.

So, I would be very interested in where you find your non-traffic domains work best. I do have several that are zilch in the traffic department, even though in my opinion they are good domains with good keywords in the domain itself.
