Namecheap payment trouble

Anybody had any difficulty using their M'card or Visa on Namecheap?

I just joined Namecheap to register some .co only to find I cannot use my card. Can't even use it for Top-Up.

Must have tried a dozen times and the payment portal kept declining my card.

Level 1 support offered what help they could to no avail. The issue has been escalated to the 'Engineering' team. I think.

Curiously, Namecheap have no records whatsoever of my many attempts to pay for the domains (apparently even failed or declined payment attempts are recorded).

Perhaps other folk who reside outside the US have had similar trouble??

(Btw, I was asked for a screenshot of the payment portal showing my complete credit card details. Which I did not supply. Wtf?!)

Do you have Paypal acc? - I'm outside of US and never had a problem with paying with Visa card via Paypal.

I had peoblems in the last two weeks. They eere charging my cc but not processing the orders.

Yes, I have Paypal. I'm not fond of Paypal. I eventually used it.

Scratch that - I tried to register a domain, received conformation from PP but Namecheap showed some kind of internal error and domain wasn't registered.
Actually when I think about it I had at least 2 situations like that in the past - domain wasn't regged for whatever reason - but I always looked at it as NC problem not payment processing one...

PP worked okay for me, (backed up by the same M'card that I tried to use directly).

Namecheap 'Engineering' have been in touch - I gather there is something going on worth their attention.

NC response:

"We would like to let you know that we located the corresponding transaction which has failed due to a system's glitch."

whatever that means
