Namecheap issue?

Just reg'd a .cn, while in the creditcard processing stage it timed out. Says my $28.88 will be refunded or was not taken out. The whois for my domain (now currently not available to try and repurchase) claims I am the owner. However there are no domains listed under my domains at namecheap. Anyone have any thoughts? Sent email but so far no response. Made screenshots at a couple regs just because.

Thanks.

Had a similiar thing happen to me last Saturday on a .co.uk. Use NameCheap's "Contact Us" link and explain the situation. They'll get you straightened away! (It may take a day or two though.)

Good luck!

Thanks,

Yes I already sent them an email thru the contact us link. Its being owned by me according to the whois, but its not under my list of domains. It is on a checkcard hold in my bank account. Maybe thats the issue?

Had this issue with a .info recently. Just contact support and they will sort it. Don't let it put you off NC.

Thats a strange error, but I would still stay with NC.

Any possiblity you can give us the details as to what went wrong so that we can all learn from this? Seems only right since you came to us looking for help, right?

Not only that but I think it's only fair to namecheap, too.

These sorts of errors will happen from time to time. In most cases it's a simple connection issue with the registries that causes the problem.

We will also usually catch this when it happens and add the domain to your account without you emailing us. It's always best to email us regardless just to be sure.

Thank you for your patience in this matter and we apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this caused you.
