My Shelby died July 1 2013

I have been dealing with an incredible loss of a wonderful part of my life.. Shelby my Pomeranian died suddenly July 1st 2013 Canada day. she was 13years old..
She was born 6 months before my twin girls were born and everyday without her is so hard... I will always love you Shelby..
I thought I would share a little piece of my life with all my friends here.

Sorry to hear about your loss . 13 years is a pretty good run for a dog . Had to put my dog to sleep 2 days ago a few hours after I took this photo . I started feeding him home made anti-oxidant dog food after I learned he had cancer, think it bought him a few more months .

So sorry for your loss, gemstar and also namebug. I do know what it feels like and there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better. It's losing a family member, and it's devastating. It is definitely a blessing to have had them in your lives!

It's always a sad day when your pet eventually leaves you. Been through that situation many times. I usually wait a few weeks and get a new pet to substitute it, while retaining the good memories of the one that just left.

So sorry Gemstar - I know all too well the kind of pain you and your family are going through. Your video was a beautiful tribute. Take time to honor her memory and to mourn - she was a member of your family, don't let anyone belittle your feelings by telling you otherwise.
