Forgive yourself for straying from your path,
For doing your job and your daily task,
For thinking what is right when in fact it was wrong,
For slaving for someone else,
Rather than singing your song,
For hiding from yourself,
For not living your life,
The only time that matters,
Is each minute you are alive,
At least when I awake each day,
I know why I am alive,
To bring the truth to the sheep,
To be a beacon of light,
In a world blanketed with darkness,
It can be easy to stray,
But the answer remains,
No I won't do that I am not your slave,
When leaving this world then I will know,
Life will be played back through infinity,
A neverending show,
Did I make this world better?
Or did I help good things die?
One thing for certain,
Each second, each breath - was mine.
