1and1 deactivated my access to MY domains prior to the Renewal/Expiration date!!!!

1and1.com deactivated my ability to change my domains proxy setting from private to public prior to the Renewal/Expiration date!!!! In effect stopping the transfer from 1and1 to godaddy. I called 1and1 technical support and they said they would expedite this issue to correct it. I hope they make this right?!

Has anyone had issues with 1and1 before??

by far the worst registrar...dont ever reg w/1+1. if you still have domains there transfer them out.

I seem to recall reading in their terms that if it were regged as private, it couldn't be transferred to another user.

Anyway, I had one regged as private transfer to name.com without a hitch.
