A small tale of the name drop process and its evolution. Its curious as one year has passed since my foray into domaining. I decided to witness the drop process at work. I let drop two names, eventhough they had potential as brandable names, I had a feeling they would eventually drop and I would be able to retrieve them. And so it has come to be.
First was the godaddy cycle on tdnam, that was reduced to $5 per name. Noone bit, so they ended up at snap names for $89 per name. Noone snagged them, until of course its inevitable conclusion, the tasters. I knew the names got no traffic so they would eventually drop, and drop again. Three tasters later they both have dropped and are once again available.
Who knows I may reregister? But it is a curious process.
