Just curious on the auctions on TDNAM, I have bought a few names and its always worked out and the names have eventually been pushed to me after payment.

I have a bid $10 on a name and it says 8 hours left in the auction. I think the name is worth a lot more, if no-one else bids, I presume I win and the name is legally mine. What happens if the buyer doesnt want to sell the name at that price?? If someone lists a name and forgets about it and its doesnt have a reserve price and I bid $10 and no other bidders come along, I presume he is entitled to push the name to me after payment.

Just wondering if its too good to be true, am I missing something??
Will TDNAM persue the person for the domain on my behalf??

Thanks, any help is appreciated :)

That's correct. Of course some sellers refuse to transfer, just like they do at most venues, however let's think positive and remember most sellers would rather eat a loss than damage their reputation.

I wouldn't recommend providing any more info or you're going to have people searching TDNAM looking for the underpriced name.

Hope you win! :)

Never had any problem with tdname. Maybe because the domain are at Godaddy so they are binding to selling it at tdname after they listed it eventhough sold for cheap.

What if there is an "Asking price" on the name that is much higher than my bid?? If I dont hear from the seller or get any counter offers, do I win the name when the time runs out??

Ok, now i think you will find that the seller wont sell it if they have a high asking/ BIN. They take bids and offers, but i dont think there is any obligation to sell it for a $10 bid.

Oh ok, thats is what I am really asking, if they have this for instance

Current Asking Price: $100,000
Minimum Offer Amount: $50

and I bid $50 and there are no more bids and the auction expires. I theoretically win the auction. So if I win the auction and it appears in my "Won" area, its best not to pay for

a bit silly really, their asking price should then be the starting bid
