TDNAM can be your friend!

I let a name drop on a godaddy reseller and they wanted to charge me close to $90 to get it back. It is a name that I thought I had regged for a few years and that has already recieved offers.

Anyways, I didn't spend the $88 bucks they wanted to get it back. Instead I got it for $5 bucks at tdnam. I had to check for it everyday but sure enough it turned up on the list a tdnam for a buy it now of 5$!

Now the name is safely back in my portfolio and I saved some coin in the process.

Someone just bought the .net version so we will see what the means. Maybe they actually have interest in the name or they just buy the .nets of the .coms that are purchased at tdnam hoping to make a quick sale.

wow, that trick would work at times, but you can be really unlucky if someone else gets it before it goes to the $5 BIN offer..and with some domains, $90 would be a great way to get it back instead of the $x,xxx

Yeah I got lucky getting it back, I won't be letting it lapse again. However it can be a cheaper way of getting a name back that is valued less than 90$!
