Hello All!

I want to sell my FIRST domain name. My registar is Godaddy. I have no experience selling domain names and now, to be honest, I am a little bit nervous because i read some posts about SCAMS.

I have one domain name I bought just TODAY and I checked at: domaintops .com and it is estimated at USD$3.790.

What do you suggest? Should I sell it on eBay? on buydomains? on Sedo?

Also, I don't know, after I sell the domain, How do I transfer it to the buyer?

List it everywhere(Sedo, AfterNic, Moniker).... ebay is the last resort

Godaddy will have instruction on free push to the new owners, if you sold it on Sedo, AfterNIC they will give you instruction on the transfer.

Friendly advice, no website in the world can tell you how much your domain is worth. Only tool you have for such answer is DOMAINERS... appraisal companies are full of $HIT. Trust me I know!

If you want a honest opinion, send me a pm with your domain and Ill tell you how much its worth and were you can sell it.

Anyone who parks their domains is at risk of loosing it in court, lawyers are using everything they can find to steal domains... as far as hackes go... only idiots loose domains to hackers... and only idiots steal domains.....

never use a free email service to admin your emails..... if you use gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc... you are at risk....

don't forget thay Moniker wants you to transfer the domain to them.

if you regester the name just a day or two ago its 98 percent sure its not even close to USD$3.790 in value, humans need to value a name not a website

you left out the most important information in your first post, what's the domain name? we can all just give you assumptions and guesses btw until you show your domain name to us. but don't jump right into it just you saw a software displayed USD$3.790 believe me it's not that worth and come to think you're just starting on it.

I agree with some of the earlier comments on this post. Domain names are valued on a range of factors and are only worth how much the end user is willing to pay. A good suggestion is to post your domain on the appraisals section of Namepros and see what other users value your domain name.

You just bought it and then you are selling it? Hmmm... I advise you to have a PR first before selling it to demand good $$..
