Here is the weird story about Wasserstoff.Energy

i registered the domains Wasserstoff.Energy & ( Wasserstoff.Global ) 2 years ago
than I missed it to renew them both

they were listed @ Uni and I got 2 offers of 500.-$ each
next day Wasserstoff.Energy was sold for 2.789.- and the funds secured

I checked the domain and it was listed @ Sedo for 3.400.-
so I made an offer of 149.- ( 340.- ) and so on

back and forth I got the domain back for 600.-€ and provided the auth code directly to Uni

profit : 1.200.-€

Wasserstoff means hydrogen

still not a big deal but a little cash for holiday 😉

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
So you agreed to sell a domain to someone even though you did not own it?

I was right in my first post, there was no misunderstanding - what you have done is wrong and your bragging about it......you clearly don't get this so I'm out of this thread
So you are saying
If you get a 1.000.000$ secured funds offer on Uni on a domain you previously owned.
You are not going to make me an offer on Sedo to try to get it back.

Patiently waiting for your answer

Usually Uniregistry delete Domains you dont own

The Same at Sedo

Front Running ?

sounds interesting

whats that ?
When someone sells or attempts to sell a domain they don't own, then buys the domain from a third party to complete the sale.

Could view it as unauthorised brokering in a way.

You must have found out 1 day before the domain sale, when you received an offer, that you do not own the domain names.

So, what did you think or do, after you got the offer? (Before the sale)

As we know, what you did after the sale...

i didn’t react to the offer

I was thinking what I would have done, maybe I would have reacted and deleted the listing on UNI.

Good for you, you didnt. You got lucky the next day. :xf.wink:

Smart! Kudos! Congrats!
Under the given situation, most of us would've been confused.

It’s always good to check your domains 😉

also it’s always good to check the domain you wanna buy directly

Just because you owned the domain before, it doesn't give you the right to sell it. You got lucky because you were able to buy it back.

to make something clear here :

my day job is to take care about old and sick people
I work 330 hours a month and make my money
domaining is just a side income

this deal was strange and lucky for me

there is a lot to learn about it !

that's the reason why I posted this thread

:xf.wink:

this is how business goes

Like Afternic, they don't delete anything.
Tons of obsolete listings there, even available for regfee.

It doesnt matter

if you have a Chance to make Business Go for it

It matters, because waste of my time on all these emails to Afternic/Uni (GD).
No any automatic verification there like on Sedo/DAN.
