1. How much average google monthly searches you are looking for when you searching for new domains to buy for parking (irrespective of the niche or length of name)?

2. What is the role plays by google suggested bid price (cpc) in domain parking?

3. What other things you look for when you purchasing new domains to park?

3. .com vs .net in terms of parking?
eg: Will there be a big difference between the revenue make by freegames.com and freegames.net?

1. search quantity is important, but of course higher means more competition, which generally leads to less CPC.

2. It's a general rule of thumb for how much advertisers pay for clicks/traffic to their sites and is pretty accurate.

3. Nice keywords, domain age, backlinks, preexisting traffic if it's an expired domain. Type-in-ability is a nice bonus if possible.

4. People are more willing generally to visit and interact with .com sites, although it isn't a deal breaker if it's .mobi, .com.au, etc.

First of all thanks for the valuable info.
few question
What are the backlinks?
Do backlinks come with the name/keywords of the domain or do our advertisers provide them?
How to check for backlinks?
Around how much of backlinks should be there to earn decent parking income?

It's about quality of backlinks rather than number.

There are loads of domains expiring everyday with 100+ spammy links that provide poor traffic, if any at all.

Is there any way to maximize the number of backlinks in our parked domains??

No you can't add backlinks for a parked domain it's against the rules. They have to be pre existing.

They are links on existing websites that link to the particular domain. Sites like ahrefs.com and seokicks.de allow you to check quantity and quality of existing backlinks. Quality is most important, for instance you could have a domain with a dozen high quality backlinks on .edu and .gov sites and outperform a domain with 100k spammy backlinks. Always check as many as you can before proceeding.

Links have to be pre exisiting and relevant to work best for you with parking. Also when registering a domain name gut instinct is a number five for your list that helps go a long ways.

Also a word of warning. Lot's of traffic even from good backlinks won't necessarily mean $$$$.

I have plenty of domains that get good numbers visiting everyday but click through rate is atrocious (<1%).

On the other hand I have one micro niche site that gets barely 5 visits a day but 33.14% CTR.

This is really important but impossible (as far as i know) to find out before you actually have the domain in your possession and parked. So filter your domains when it comes to renewals to make sure traffic is converting. If you've changed parking services, keywords (on platforms that allow you to alter them) and other meta data and still can't monetize the traffic, then zero click is the only way. If that doesn't yield much then drop it.

Sorry for the long post but point 6 could be review your domains and don't be scared to say bye bye!

I wonder can we get to/turn this in to ten parking commandments? :)

Well said. There's no guaranteed outline for finding money-making domains, just increase the possibility as much as possible.

Thanks a lot everyone.

few clarifications,

What is the best way of parking?
1. using a unique parking company like Voodoo, Bodis, Parking crew
or
2. using a Monetization AutoPilot like Above?

if 1.
what is the best place to park?

if 2.
Is Above is the best place for monetization?
