Regarding domainers and non-domainers in Singapore, most of them are starting to notice the gold mine in mobile commercial value after recently several annoucements of mobile plan by the local telecommunication companies.

Singapore telecommunication have announced several plans for commercial mobile usage as follows:

Singapore to start wireless-payment trials

Tailoring ads to cell phone users

Singapore Enters Mobile Payment Market

It all started at early sep at Singapore. Therefore, a number of my friends starting to entrust me in helping them to secure a .mobi.

It is not surprising that Singapore has begun to notice DotMobi TLDs. SingTel (the Asian-Pacific mobile giant) is reporting to have 1.82 million subscribers in Singapore alone, but is also reporting to have 136 million subscribers in the Asia-Pac region total. StarHub is reporting 1.59 million subscribers and MobileOne 1.378 million subscribers in Singapore respectively. The Asia-Pacific mobile market is having explosive growth so it is good to see that they are coming aboard.
