Great sale! Its listed on Namebio, as well. My guess is most likely for use as Mr. Lawyer. Doubt it will be used for mixed reality, IMO. Of course, time will tell.

Yeah i was also thinking about Mr. Lawyer. But the timing of the sale... might / could be used for a mixed reality lawyer / bot / A.I. in the near future.

Might be tough to be taken seriously if that's their angle, but I agree anything is possible.

It'll be interesting to see what will become of it. Regardless of usage it's a nice boost for the "mr" abbreviation.

The other positive thing about this article is also this bit stating the company as started to build manufacturing lines, a move a company will make when they are ready to bulk produce a product for consumer release. MR is closer than some people think:

And to add this article is not from 29 of November because i can remember reading this a couple of months ago. Forgot the important notice of 18 months. Did already know about them testing / perfecting construction lines.

It seems the development is going much faster then i was thinking a couple of days ago. Very good news for the big MR domain holders and their renewal fees. Even when there are no sales or income i have enough savings to renewal all my domains for 2 years. Enough time for Magic Leap to launch and market their product. Everyone knows when there is a actual consumer product / market the value of MR domains will skyrocket. It will be stupid to sell to fast and for to cheap.
