I'm starting the official Mixed Reality thread. With Microsoft and others pushing for this phrase some of us are hoping to benefit. This is where we discuss and show case our domains.

A funny thing happened to me late last night though. I hadn't regged a VR name in a long while. And I got so excited when I saw VRWorld.net was available for registration. Everything went through fine. Then I went to change nameservers and found out I had actually regged MRWorld.net lol. I swore I double checked. so weird. I blame you @Elad n ! lol Should I take it as a sign of the future of MR?

Virtual+keyword got great history .. it works already and not necessarily for VR .
Augmented is not my cup of tea.

i prefer it shorter and dont like Augmented keyword so Mixed is better for me but each with his own .

I think there all struggling with it...its the cost and weight of the headsets....not to mention style
I am upbeat but the reality is its years away from the normal guy in the street .
I think this thread is now mainly running on people investment with vr/mr domains.

Which thread? As an example, VR names are already a success because of the potential and still headsets are big and quality isn't good enough.

I think they need to rethink the design...the technology is just not with us yet...
they may think it is..but the public will not...I don't think anyway...

Mr has potential in the future, just saying, vr is now, but as in any tech in time it becomes obsolete, its what the industry decides as to the future, mr/ar/ any alphabet +r you can think of, but I guess it all depeneds on whether your a domainer or a speculator.. Federer (namepros member) is selling 10k+ a month on reg fee, most on here are waiting for a payday on a speculation that may/may not arrive. Reality chek
