Missed renewal now what?

Looks like I missed out on renewing my domain by mistake and it no longer shows up in my domain account, when trying to access it the webpage is now parked. I think I seen in the whois info that it's "pending deletion", but I can't outright buy it anywhere. How long does this process take and how can I be assured of getting my domain back?

Contact your registrar ASAP - if you are lucky you should be able to get it back for less than US$ 160 - much less in some cases.

I can tell you exactly how it works at my main registrar (Enom) but chances are you are with somebody else -just call them or email them ASAP.
