Very annoying when people have a min offer on their domain of $20, $99, $200 etc etc...

Why not just put the min offer at $10,000 if you are going to come back with comments like "Let's be realistic" and send a counter at $25,000 on an average domain...

I don't understand why people want to waste everyone's time by allowing offers that are so far below their expectations.

SAVE US ALL THE TIME.

I agree with it! There are too many unrealistic sellers. Guy contacts me today out of the blue and asks for an offer. I say BIN please. He says I am fishing for information and he has to talk to someone etc. Just walk away from these types of characters. Don't give them your business in selling or buying.

I do agree with you but at the same time by thinking like a seller, I want to get as many offer as possible and see who will be willing to come up to my price. Of course some people have some unrealistic prices for some really crappy names but that is just how it is.

All we can do as buyers is put our best offer on the table and see if the seller will be willing to settle.

As sellers all we can do is put the price we want on the table and see what the buyer is willing to spend and see if you can find a common ground in price.

If your focus is to sell to end users not domain investors, your price expectations are going to be higher. Yet putting a minimum offer will often be the offer amount you get. The reality is even small companies spend thousands of dollars on normal operating expenditures so $1500 to brand your business should be no big deal - even though more often domains are viewed as a $xx cost.

As a seller, we need to know our price...as a buyer we need to set our limits...we all know domainers who have unrealistic expectations...those are the ones who fail and eventually make more room for us.
