Pre Release domains (also known as 'expiring' or 'exclusive') are auctioned only on one auction house because the registrar makes a deal with a certain auction house.
Interestingly pre-release MelbourneIT domains which should be exclusive to only one auction house, show up on both snapnames and namejet. Maybe they had a deal with one of them and then switched to another. I don't know the reason but they show up on both.
Here is an example:
https://www.snapnames.com/domain/debashis.com.action
http://www.namejet.com/Pages/Auctions/BackorderDetails.aspx?domainname=debashis.com
So if you are backordering MelbourneIT pre-release domains you might want to backorder on both sites.
