Melbourne IT stupidity case-sensitive usernames!

Melbourne IT has been notoriously poor for us as a registrar, and now they have changed to a new system with case sensitive usernames. I've never used any IT system in the world with case sensitive usernames. Who signed off on this stupidity?

Thin your username is "richtrading" well actually it could now be "RICHTRADING" - and they won't make that clear.
