.mobi March Maddness Commercials (A lot of mobile commercials)

Anyway, I think this is great news for .mobi. The whole day I have been watching the "March Madness" for college basketball and yesterday. And What I noticed about the commercials is that, they are advertising the mobile internet capabilities. But after looking up some info, Pizzahut.mobi is coming soon, and from what I have seen, Pizza Hut is one of the biggest advertisers so far for "March Madness".

Anyway I want this thread to be about "mobile commercials and what you notice on TV now for the next month while "March Madness happens" And if you can notice the mobile internet gaining ground, which will be huge for .mobi


For those of you that don't know what "March Madness" is, here is a breif description. It is a Big tournament with in the colleges of America, and IMHO one of the biggest TV coverage events by major networks, besides the olympics,superbowl & world series.

So far I saw about 4 or 5 comercials from pizza hut while watching the NCAA torunament. and they are offereing a promotion for the chocolate phone. And verizon has been advertising too. And I just checked out there .mobi name, it says its underconstruction by their host.


The commercial is basicly showing mobile internet capabilites, for example I think they were showing highlights of the tournament

Just saw another one while watching the villanova KY game, A mobile phone accessing content (video like) and a shaving company (and it was teh shaving companies ad)..... I forget what the company was, maybe Bic or shick. But anyway, I know they are not advertsing .mobi, but at the same time, from being in the advertising field...IMHO.....they are putting images in peoples mind.!."Subliminal messages"

For example what does Pizza Hut and that shaving company have to do with cell phones or the mobile internet?

I seen one last night during the Illinois game. It was an ad for tv on your mobile. The commercial was by Cingular(the new At&t). They showed close ups of the phone running a tv show. It was pretty cool. Makes me glad I regged these...

Just saw one with Cisco a minute ago. A guy was viewing a tv thing on one of the new PDA's, the ad was about networks. It says there sponsoring todays coverage for the games today. Kind of interesting to see cisco advertising mobile phones. Wonder if they have any other commercias of this durring the day.
