Make my own parking pages

Why have 50 75 or even 80% of revenue ?

For instance i have a website with only :
thedomainname.com
(adsense)
contact:email

And i make many more $/visitor than parked domains.

So, instead of giving this (and many others) domain to a parking service,
why not make my own parking sites ?

Do you know a script/software that make "website" like http://newrock.com ?
But i will use my own adsense code.

Nice Idea

It would take massive amounts of work and programming, along with selling your legitimacy of your ad program to potential advertisers especially things like poker site, or others with high RPC.

If you are up for the task, I will join your network if you make it available to other NamePros members.

If you are going to keep it closed for yourself, it would just turn into a private advertising network, where you are going to want to have massive hits on your website to even think about having major advertisers look at your website.

No i don't want to make my own network.

Anyone can open it's own google adsense account (and you don't have to worry about searching for advertisers, google does it for you).

In fact i can copy a parkingsite.com site and host by myself, but i need the php files.

So, i will just have to host websites my myself (that is pretty cheap, parking sites don't have many GB/month ) and use my adsense code.

if you make your own parking sites, you also have the advantage of full control over the links, so you can raise the PR of your other sites, while parking sites add links to themselves

I'm already there. I've got about thirty sites WITH RELEVANT CONTENT and adsense ready to drop in about a week. This is only my pilot program. If it pays, I'll drop the rest of my three hundred + on the same program and tune it up from there.

Once I'm set up, I'll give the skinny on my process. It seems pretty simple right now, but we'll see.

Well first off not all parking sites use adsense. Fabulous does not, DOmainhop does not. Creating your own parking pages is cool but they must have some content if Google finds no content you will have your account closed. See Google has a program for big players that can use Google for parking they do not extend it to smaller players.
You must have some content. ParkingSite uses Adam Dickers relationship with Google to have the sites they have.

I love the idea though but it is some work to have good content, but you can add a good affiliate program on your site too to make more money. So tie it all in Good content + ADSENSE+ a Related Affiliate Program.

I just use domain3.co.uk - my own personal web page. I just need to sort my domains out so they forward to D3 now.

Seen as most of my domains are ipod related, I have an advert for freeipods there. People sign up because they are curious, and I get £.50p everytime.

Simple.

Sod paying sedo £100/$150 in fees for doing nothing

A test portfolio of names that was earning $250 with parking site was generating over $700 in revenue as developed mini-websites using contextual ads. Earnings across the board are higher.

My mini-websites are each around 12 pages in content total and can be created instantly by specifying a keyword. I originally created my system almost a year ago to integrate into NamePros, but have some issues that need to be addressed before making it public.

Making content based on wikipedia definition ?

I already use wikipedia to make some content on my webpage, but split definitions in multiples pages is a good idea.

I think i will do that.
Work on a good template that i will use on many domains with minor changes.

<edit> BTW I found a very easy to use script for putting rss feeds on your mini-sites'. Can't remember off the top but if anyone interested I'll dig it out. I do like a news feed from MSN (rss), take the url & feed it to the script. Always gives the latest news. I set it up for a local ISP to place the local newspaper feed on his site.</edit>
