m.google.mobi - a positive sign

..this site now resolves on the PC (actually, the first ever advertisement I see for "Google.mobi")

I have missed this place NP, we had some great times (.mobi founding community) - best wishes for more and more..

All the links are intertwined. You click on one and it takes you to m.google.mobi. Then you click another one which takes you to mobile.google.com. If you click on another it takes you to m.google.com.

So confusing!

is anyone in the process of contacting Google to petition them to begin using .mobi vs. the "m dot" address?

I'm sure they'll get at least three emails from domainers about it. They'll probably file them in with the email they got from a feminist group complaining that oo in Google is offensive.

Lets take a look at the following domains:

google.com = 10 characters
google.mobi = 11 characters
m.google.mobi = 13 characters

How does this make it easier for me to type or more convenient for me to use? Just a thought...
