How is your developed .mobi ranking in Yahoo's new mobile search - "One Search"?​

Let's use this thread to share insight and initiatives..
to raise our current situation with our developed Dot Mobis
and new Yahoo's "One Search".​

Yahoo has just unveiled a new, seperate, mobile search engine.

It can be ascessed quickly by typing in http://yahoo.mobi

Fresh, new hierarchy of rankings to aim for..

..with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) criteria.


Two of the biggest factors in traditional SEO for high ranking are:

1.) Backlinks (so we must all quickly do link exchanges and link exchange campaigns)

2.) Keywords (In the domain name especially, title, content, etc.)


Good news for those who have keywords in their DotMobis.. at least for one keyword so far "Filipino".. I see my dot mobi site Filipino.mobi ranked #1 for keyword "Filipino" alone!

Great sign for Dot Mobi investors! (Google.com/pda mobile search has yet to appreciate Dot Mobi domains more)

How about drafting now more mindful of those great keyword search term combos?

I totally agree, we all need to link to increase traffic.

I already have worldradio.mobi listed in top-10.mobi as 'New and Hot" and you have top-10.mobi listed as well.

I will add a section to BWAY.mobi for "other mobile sites" and link worldradiio.mobi there.

I will be developing more sites soon and will continue to link to other .mobi's

I didn't find any place to do the search though.

@ Neobodhi - Yes, Yahoo.mobi is a regional redirect for me also to http://us.m.yahoo.com/

..on the top of the page, above the button "One Search", is a purple URL bar to type in keywords (laid across the top)..

We all need to do this more, circulate more with sharing links so that we can raise exposure for Dot Mobi as well as get more traffic and rankings in the new mobile search engines!

In the mid 90's there was some new first mover directory called Yahoo (not needing a great name even)..
