New Member Disclaimer: Four letter domain names are a relatively new investment category that is only beginning to gain traction in Dotcom. This domaining sector offers potentially larger returns than traditional revenue or traffic based domain names, however with this investment opportunity comes extravagant risk.

It was only a matter of time... First King Com. Then .CN fell. And now... I present to you LLLL.net :!:

Yep, I got rejected from Fabulous too. I have some nice LLLL.com and LLL.net domains (along with a quite popular website), so I guess they're only looking for truly generic names (i.e. a portfolio full of at least $x,xxx names)

ONNN sold for 2.5k and MYYY went for 2.1k in dotcom awhile back, so I'd say $161 is not too bad at all as well :)

Has anybody had any luck parking LLLL.net's? I am getting some traffic but no clicks. :( I am thinking of just using keywords like "domaining" instead of trying to come up with arbitrary meanings for the four letters.

dadomains, you aren't allowed to do that in this thread......

And as far as clicks go, yes I have had some luck with random off the wall keyword attempts.

Oops, sorry...removed!

So just keep trying random stuff and hope to get lucky? I was hoping there might be some good old generic standbys that people have had success with. Like my suggestion "domaining" for instance, or "Make Money NOW!" keywords :hehe:

In a LLLL.com thread someone suggested just putting a Google search box right smack dab in the center of an empty page. I might try that for .Nets.

The empty box might work. Not sure if that is against googles T.O.S though since it is a made for adsense site.

Well I think the idea was to keep the search box there only long enough to find out what most of your traffic was searching for, then build/park the site around those words. Not sure how I would go about capturing that information once the searches are made though. I am assuming the Adsense account will tell you.
