It was only a matter of time... First King Com. Then .CN fell. And now... I present to you LLLL.net :!:

This thread is designed to elicit discussion about LLLL.nets. You're encouraged to post anything you feel is relevant to LLLL.nets in this thread. This includes sales information, new regs, ...

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Some nice ones from Reece's list:

IRIH.NET
IRAV.NET
ARUV.NET
ATUD.NET
EBUC.NET
EBUP.NET
ECUG.NET
UPOB.NET
UPUM.NET
UPUQ.NET
OKOC.NET
OHEH.NET

Some are all premium and VCVC's. However, I will miss them.

PS: Reece, you forgot to "officialize" the thread. It should be the Official LLLL.net countdown :)

I'm only interested in the pronouceable premiums and the .nets of my existing LLLL.com domains. I'm experimenting with auctions of a few llll.net such as baph.net at Namepros Auctions now. Doing it mainly out of curiousity.

OK, I bought these 5 for Ha Ha's. There are a ton of nice LLLL.nets, and people go looking for .net after they can't buy the .com. I got a feeling this list wont last long, I bet it's done before February; and I'll be digging in there for more.

oh dear lord ... here we go again ... 53 (now 54) posts in the less than 10 hours since that maniac Reece had to go and let this cat out of the bag.

Reece - if you're not recommending regging (for instance) ZVQJ . net (not quite yet anyway) :) ... then ... why ... is ... this ... thread ... a ... freaking ... count ... down ???

and I thought I was nuts with my anti-premium dot com critters. But this is just a bit ... mind-boggling ... got ... to ... pace ... ourselves ... dammit !

HEY FELLLLAS - WAIT FOR MEEEE ...!!!

(and yes I am going to bag a few of the ugliest first before someone else gets that "bright" idea ...)

how much are Monte and Bob paying you to foist this latest heap of madness on us ?????

but, seriously folks ... good quality LLLL.net == great idea for a long term play.
Buyout of the dregs anytime soon == sheer madness. Seems like one of those classic "I wasn't wrong, just early" moves that stock market players will sometimes be heard muttering as they "go off sniffing drainpipes and reciting the alphabet ..." (apologies to Bob Dylan)

but what do I know ... I'm just speculating about speculation at this point. Just wondering, how much money is going have to come into the LLLL market(s) each year just to pay renewal fees ? I guess each of us has to answer that question for ourselves - and then take a long hard look at everyone else who might end up dropping an anchor through the poopdeck once this latest ship of fools is well out to sea ...

... ah, whatever. Carry on. :)

Maybe we should get the title changed to LLLL.net Premium Countdown -- because I do think they'll be gone in the not too distant future :imho:

I'm heading off to bed... Catch up with you guys tomorrow and hopefully get at least to S then

I have been keeping an eye out on some CVCV.net's but most get picked up rather quickly..I agree these aren't going to be gone for some time..Personally I am trying to tie my money up in either dropping LLLL.com's or CVCV.info's..

I'm still unsue on what angle im going to take when it comes to registering quad letter dot nets. One thing I will mention is the fact that many LLLL.info's that I recently picked up have a fair amount of natural type in traffic. Regged in November and seeing at least 200 uniques a month +. I haven't tried monetising these names yet but when I do I should probably be able to claw a few $ from each every and enough money to justify their rereg when the time comes.

As for .net, i'm going to select a few nice ones, 30-40 to hold onto and see what happens.

I have already regged the .net alternatives of some of my LLLL.com's too. I think this is a wise move from some of the better LLLL.com's in your portfolios.

Rich B-)

P.S. Thanks for the lists Reece - when I update my blog today / tomorrow I'll link back to your's for the lists! Super job! :)

.net is common in some country :)

I regged useZ.net not a CVCV, but a nice VCVC imho ;P

I will probably collect 100 for my portfolio. $700 per year is very reasonable calculated risk IMO.

In mid 2007 I only put 20 nice L-L-L.com and look what happen.

In early 2007 my initial take for LLLL.com was 100 but I end up collecting 200 and again look what happen.

We need only to make sure that XMAN purchases 100-200 LLLL.nets and then all LLLL.net holders will succeed :)

LOL..the possibility of that happening would probably early to mid 2008. That's if there are more pronouceables and premiums left.

Would I register 100 at least? Absolutely.

I will take 25 LLLL.net for now.

Is this thread a HYPE for LLLL.net? Maybe or maybe not....but for me..it doesn't make any difference whether or not.

All I know is to take at least 100.

I'm still buying some nice LLLL.com on top of my 200+ collection. and I end up buying L-L-L.com as well since I only have 20 of them. Hopefully this is the end of my buying spree.

There area a lot of nice VCVC's left, and I believe it's worth spending $100 to see what happens. That $100 investment could be worth $300-$500 by next year, but you have to be in it to win it!!!

That's exactly what I'm doing with some of LLLL.net I regged.

Selling your nice .com with a pair of .net in the future is a nice way of attracting buyer IMO.

I have OHOV dot com with OHOV dot net as one example.

I missed LLLL.com train of course (having 20 mid-quality LLLL.com doesn't count) Now I own about 200 LLLL.net for less than one month but many of them already have offer views.

1. LLLL.net is a very cheap alternative for end users to LLLL.com.
2. LLLL.net may be purchased for cheap (200-500) by LLLL.com owner.
3. LLLL.net may have type in traffic from similar .orgs.

Now it's still possible to find LLLL.net when LLLL.com and LLLL.org (I have some that even .info is taken) are taken and there are developed sites there. That means that next company with LLLL acronym will have to buy LLLL.net

IMO the history is repeating. LLL.com -> LLL.net. Now LLLL.com -> LLLL.net

History is repeating itself is what it seem and those who do not learn from it is doom to repeat it.

Will LLLL.net be sold out? Maybe or maybe not.

Will VCVC and premiums will be sold out? I think they are disappearing more than expected.

Will CVCV be sold out? I think that happened a month or two ago

Haha that funny, the market not re-peating the same way i think. My opinion is :

By ranking :

1. Domain for business
2. Casino or poker domain
3. Sex domain
4. 2 and 3 letter or number
5. New brand domain, some is 4 letter domain but i see the company get 5-8 letter for new brand
