Most of the quads were bought in Jan and early Feb last year, so some of the first drops from the buyout are starting to hit. Between domain prices falling, and renewal fees coming up for people who participated in the buyout, less people have been picking up the drops.

~30 out of 83k available is a very small number, but we won't really know what is going to happen until the bulk of the buyout domains (regged end of Jan-Feb 5) make it through the drop cycle, which will be at least another month. I suspect at least a few thousand will probably drop though.

Yeah, am still holding onto well more than 1,000 of them. Just can't afford to renew these on top of the thousands of other domains I'm hanging onto (including my 1,000+ L-L-L.com's). Plus a house I'm renovating currently has been a huge hole in my pocket having spent over $10,000 on in the last few months.

Have sold a few to end users when I've got the time to email them. Have offered the rest for sale here at $1 each with no luck so not worth mucking around for anything less. However if anyone's interested in them please PM me and I can PM you a list when I get around to compiling it in case you want any (for free).

I think about 1000 or may be more will remain unregistered. To tell the thruth there are quads that are not worth holding. Like RGGF, LHFR, HGFH etc... On the other hand domains of higher quality like STPC, PNII, EDMS, CGSM, FROL, CSBC, SCBA, IDBN etc. were worth holding even before buyout. I still hold with my domains that I consider of higher than average quality.
