Hi,

I have listed few Domains in 4.cn and some of them got approved to be listed. Few says " Ownership verification failed, please bind the whois email or change the domain DNS!"
Its not verifying automatically. I need to verify with changing the Domain DNS..

But I am not sure how to change with 4.cn.. What DNS should be Used...

Please help.

Thanks

.US domains.US domains
Add the whois email in your 4.cn account and click manually verify again. Or email their support to manual verify for you.

Hello Guider,

I have listed domains on 4.cn for several years. The auto verification system is poor. Every time after listing I send a support ticket and say "please manually verify "abc.com". Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 days but in all cases it is accepted through manual verification. If that doesn't work, they do have phone support as well.

On the homepage, if you select "contact us" (upper right corner), you will see a list of customer service reps.

If it is taking some time to verify, I will contact individually. A few have been there for long time. I can recommend-

Monica
Phone: +86 571-56638515
Email: [email protected]

But, any of the reps are helpful.

I have same error, use this DNS

ns1.4.cn
ns2.4.cn

No need to wait, after change the DNS, click manually verify again.

after success verified, back to your original DNS

exactly this is the solution which i also used for my own numerical domains at 4.cn.. you can always change it back to your preferred DNS afterwards

You can change the language there to english, if you click at the small US flag in the top right corner.. then should be easier to navigate for you there.. List domains for sale > Add domains.. voilรก

Hi GravityEleven

Thanks, I've done that. What I am not really sure about it's how does their system work. They're always talking about freezing funds... My question is more:

- Do you need funds in order to auction?
- Are the funds some sort of warranty to them (they'll refund the funds once your auction is done)
- Are you actually paying them to auction and then giving them a% on the sale?

- Can you withdraw funds you've added at anytime (via paypal or bank account)

I appreciate any help on the matter. Thanks

You need to add funds first to your account, can be done via Paypal easily as well to [email protected] as long as your paypal email matches your 4.cn account email

- Do you need funds in order to auction? Only for auctions you want to participate in, not for your own created auctions.. same for participating in BIN sales, you need to add funds first before u can buy any domains directly for BIN
- Are the funds some sort of warranty to them (they'll refund the funds once your auction is done)? See above, but generally yes for all bids you have placed or BIN buys
- Are you actually paying them to auction and then giving them a% on the sale? basic 8% commission, for inhouse brokered sales 10% which is still below most other domain markets

- Can you withdraw funds you've added at anytime (via paypal or bank account)? Any amount that is not frozen, yes

I'm just looking to sell at the moment. So I've I'm reading correctly, I'll need to deposit funds ONLY if I want to buy (makes sense) or if I'm selling through premium level (see screenshot).

One last thing... Is it better to go with deposit auction or transfer auction?

by the way, it's a NLLL.com domain that I'm selling.

thanks

I see now what you are talking about, that is the premium level.. these are additional fees similar to additional Flippa fees for increased control, visibility, chances, etc. to sell..

you can also apply to be a Gold member there, then you get a lot of discounts (lower commissions, limited free premium listings and stuff..) but honestly i can't answer much about this since i am not one..

ps: i would go with deposit auction
