Is 4.CN a trustworthy escrow service?

I have an (apparently Chinese) buyer who wants to purchase one of my .com domains using the 4.CN escrow service (http://www.4.cn/escrow). But of course an escrow service only helps if you can trust them. I searched for 4.cn on NP/DNF and saw a few references, but nothing related to their escrow service.

Has anyone here used 4.Com for escrow? How did it work out? Were you paid quickly? Buyer wants to use 4.cn because they offer Chinese and English language interfaces, whereas Escrow.com is English-only. His English skills are very poor.

In addition to helping me determine whether to accept this sale, I hope this thread helps future NP users determine whether to deal with 4.cn. So please post your experiences!

Many people/company try to use 4.CN's escrow service to buy any .cn domains, as you said they offer Chinese and English language interfaces, and the escrow fees is lowest, this is the best choice for some people don't understand English/Chinese.

Once transaction completed, you can request funds in the account center, they will send the funds to you by PayPal or Wire Transfer.

Anyway, Chinese domainers will choose 4.CN instead of Sedo/Escrow/Moniker, due to any of several problems including pool English, Highest Escrow fees, Highest request fund fees, complexity of wire transfer, etc...

I think 4.cn is a trusted escrow service because I'm using it and a majority of the domainers in china use 4.cn to sell/buy domains to people in other countries. the escrow fee is 8% and there is no reserve price. good luck to you.

I am from the US, I recently sold 2 domains thru them - the transaction went smoothlty, after the buyers paid they wire transfer fund to my US bank account with no problem - I am currently auctioning another domain, it will end tomorrow - I trust them - PM if you have any other question

Domaining is a high mark up business - as long as both parties trust the service then the fee is not a problem, usually I asked the buyer pay for the fee
