I used to be a die-hard dot-commer. I figured that if it didn't end in .com then it was crap. But lately I've opened my mind up to other possibilities, and have acquired some domains with different extensions.
I got incen.se, which is good karma.
I got snakesk.in, which is kind of creepy.
I got some awesome US's.
I got uranium.cc, which I think was a good reg,
And then I got into .io, and I got some really good ones.
Like positions.io. Stop being a perv. It's a job domain.
Anyway, I'd like to sell them at Flippa. I tried but couldn't ever get them verified. And as I understand, that's just the way things are at Flippa. The verification system doesn't work very well. Everybody knows it. It's just one of those things that remains fucked up for no good reason year after year.
I suspect there's a serious lack of leadership over there at Flippa. Like there isn't someone who will stand up and say, "I think there's a problem with our verification system and we should look into getting it fixed, even though that would mean significantly more business for our company."
I've ranted here numerous times before about Flippa's issues, but to no effect. I've given up on getting Flippa to do something and have decided to take the matter into my own hands.
I'm proposing that we bribe a flippa employee to give me remote access to their servers. I'm pretty sure that 15 minutes will be enough time for me to get in and fix their issues. A few of the major ones, at least.
And then Flippa will work better. Flippa will be happy, and we'll be happy, and everyone will win.
But it will be our little secret, okay?
