I used to be a die-hard dot-commer. I figured that if it didn't end in .com then it was crap. But lately I've opened my mind up to other possibilities, and have acquired some domains with different extensions.

I got incen.se, which is good karma.

I got snakesk.in, which is kind of creepy.

I got some awesome US's.

I got uranium.cc, which I think was a good reg,

And then I got into .io, and I got some really good ones.

Like positions.io. Stop being a perv. It's a job domain.

Anyway, I'd like to sell them at Flippa. I tried but couldn't ever get them verified. And as I understand, that's just the way things are at Flippa. The verification system doesn't work very well. Everybody knows it. It's just one of those things that remains fucked up for no good reason year after year.

I suspect there's a serious lack of leadership over there at Flippa. Like there isn't someone who will stand up and say, "I think there's a problem with our verification system and we should look into getting it fixed, even though that would mean significantly more business for our company."

I've ranted here numerous times before about Flippa's issues, but to no effect. I've given up on getting Flippa to do something and have decided to take the matter into my own hands.

I'm proposing that we bribe a flippa employee to give me remote access to their servers. I'm pretty sure that 15 minutes will be enough time for me to get in and fix their issues. A few of the major ones, at least.

And then Flippa will work better. Flippa will be happy, and we'll be happy, and everyone will win.

But it will be our little secret, okay?

I have experienced the same. It was what drove me away.

Haha - I'm a big fan of your late night postings!

If you get bored enough, start a GoFundMe, and we can start the bribe. How often does a company get paid to have their issues fixed for them?

The verification system doesn't work very well.

You want find the one that doesn't work, or(h) well, try 4.cn.
At least they add your names after you bitch about it in ticket.
But on Flippa it's actually possible to add some names through the system, just needs a lot of effort and trying.
Except for .io, .cc, .me and .li, I don't have more exotic but this 4 cannot be verified ever you right.[/QUOTE]

Hi Greg.

This is actually our first order of business in the new year. (we know we've had trouble with ccTLD verification, especially)

What's your support ticket number? I can personally see to it that your portfolio is updated. The issue is that we have to resort to manual methods for certain extensions, so if the WhoIs doesn't reflect / confirm, your ownership, and/or if you're not able to manually verify (through setting up a salespage with our nameservers, or text file) on your end, we don't push them through.

We hope that you understand it's a security risk and we need to be extra careful. But the good news is that we're revamping the system so we can better automate and improve the speed by which the process unfolds.

Okay, what I said in my original post is that I wanted to "bribe" a Flippa employee, because you can "talk to" a Flippa employee until you're blue in the face but you won't see shit happen. I can only surmise that if Flippa employees are like normal humans, it's going to take an incentive.

Namepros, I have always commended you for your lack of censorship, but I can't anymore.

I start a thread with the intent of doing good, by fixing some of Flippa's problems, since it's obvious by now that they won't, and you change one of my key words.

We must bribe a Flippa employee if we're going to see change at Flippa. Because the powers that be at Flippa are making enough money as is. They don't want their company to be any more successful. That's why they continually fail to fix their problems, no matter how many times I satirically point them out here. The same problems that have been there for a long time.

Clearly Flippa needs our help. The problem is that they're afraid to ask. I'm helping them by not requiring them to ask, and rather, just giving them the help they need. I will fix the problems at their website if you'll pitch-in and help me bribe a Flippa employee to give me remote access to their servers. I will fix their problems free of charge. I'll even defrag their hard drives while I'm in there. Consider it my contribution to humanity.

I noticed someone else mentioned the idea of starting a gofundme page for the cause. I think that's an awesome idea! Let's all pitch in and fix Flippa's problems. The world will be thankful!

Thanks, but no thanks.

I can't find a recent CS ticket of yours - If you submit one, as I mentioned via PM, we can actually *help* you.
